Post pictures of your workspace.

Well I know other places do this, so I figured why not get to know the Recess gamer's workplaces as well.

This is my general work area, it's where most of my painting is done, green stuff work, in general about 80% of the mini is at this "station"

And this is how I spend my Friday nights... :)
Building is usually done here, I have better lighting here for the "big piece" and more specialized lighting for the painting process at the other table.

So post where you work on your mini's.

This is the area where all of my painting is done. My area is the space on the floor in the foreground.

These are from when we first moved into our current place. I've cleaned, re-organized, moved the table, and bought a few more shelves since then. But this is the basic set-up.

Paints, brushes, files, knives and other tools & supplies are on the wheeled taboret in the first pic. I can actually wheel it out to the living room if I want to veg out in front of the TV while prepping figures or something.

I used to use the two incandescent lamps on the side, all the time, but now only use them for photos. I paint almost exclusively with the fluorescent in the center. The reason for the switch is that 99% of the time the figures are being viewed under fluorescent lights, so while I am painting I can see what they will look like when they are in use rather than some ideal daylighting conditions.

The table is an old drafting table. I use this because I can keep the work surface higher than a standard table or desk, which keeps my back from bugging me. (I highly recommend a high working surface!)

This is where I do half of my painting... really more cutting and assembling. Of course, there are a few more bookshelves around the house that harbor finished minis, new ones still in the boxes, and other modelling stuff. I also have a huge desk in the basement that I don't use in the winter because its cold and dark and scary (not pictured).

This is my mobile workstation, mainly for downstairs where I can watch tv while painting. I'm proud to say I made the workstation, and it has little handles on the side for easy carrying. I drilled holes for all the paintbrushes, and used to have lots of them, but since I started, I've come to realize that I just basically use small flat brushes and, my favorite, a 10/0 Taklon spotter (I go through these fast, but hey that's what you get for $1.79). I'm saving up for a nice fluorescent lamp, which I can't get because I keep buying more minis instead.
